Commissioning a painting: GENERAL INFO & POLICIES

Read below for general info, and go to FAQ's for further explanation. Let's make something great together! 

I am currently booked through June 2018.

I work in acrylic paint mainly, but may use watercolor and ink, depending on the project. I paint abstract scenes, but also love working on landscapes, flowers and bugs. After a quick discussion about your wishes and desires for the artwork, I will interpret and create your piece in my unique style. If you see and love something that I've already created, let's work together to come up with something similar, but customized perfectly for you!

Fill out the questionnaire below, and then I will send you a link to a private webpage that will house all of the important information for your project. The info on the page will require your approval, and will include a summary of the project, as understood from your questionnaire answers, the size and price quote, and a short-and-sweet contract for you to sign. Once the signed contract is received, I will add you to my commission calendar! I am currently booked through June 2018.

As soon as we have agreed on the content and size of the piece, a 50% non-refundable deposit is due before I begin work on your piece. Along with my time and materials, one mid-point check-in is also included in the pricing, so you can see the progress and I can make any necessary adjustments. The final 50% payment will be due upon completion of the painting and your final approval, but before the finished product ships. (Chart guide: "Ready-Made" refers to original paintings that are for sale in my shop's current inventory.)

Shipping is free for all orders over $300! All items are shipped with insurance, and the cost is included in the shipping price. No refunds will be issued at this point, unless the artwork arrives severely damaged.

Once you fill out the form, I will send you a private link to a page that includes:  1) a summary of the project, as understood from your questionnaire answers;  2) the price quote;  3) and the contract for you to review and sign, if you're ready to move forward. Then once I receive the deposit and signed contract from you, I will add you to my commission calendar. I am currently booked through June 2018.
